We are currently recruiting for a leading independent Life Sciences Laboratory supplier, established for over 30 years. Supporting a number of key sectors across the UK & Ireland, their teams service industries including Food and Beverage Manufacturing, Contract Laboratory Testing, Pharmaceuticals, Water Testing alongside many others.
We are now recruiting for a UK and Ireland Sales Manager.

Key Tasks:
Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, the Sales Manager will be directly responsible for the Field Sales Team, made up of Regional Account Managers, Territory Managers and Business Development Managers.
The key functions of this role include:
- To support, maintain & grow the current sales in all Account Manager’s, Business Development Manager’s & Territory Manager’s regions.
- To Exceed revenue growth and profit targets set – in all Sales Team’s regions by creating and implementing Sales Strategies
- To support training and development of All Account Managers, Business Development Managers & Territory Managers to ensure all targets are met.
- To ensure All Account Managers, Business Development Managers & Territory Managers are fully trained on all products, procedures and software programmes – to ensure all targets and KPI’s are hit.

Your Skills:
- Strong communicator / good understanding of product portfolio / technical understanding of life science laboratory equipment and consumables
- A natural leader, who is able nurture a large team of skilled sales individuals to successfully implement and execute their sales strategies
- Ability to build long standing relationships with customers – existing network of established relationships within the life science industry desirable
- Great presentation skills and the ability to network with individuals at varying levels of organizational seniority.
- Highly driven and motivated individual who is always seeking the drive growth in territory
- Active listener who has the ability to absorb information in order to construct simple, clear solutions from complex scenarios
- Self-starter with the ability to work unsupervised day-to-day
- Superior organizational skills to effectively plan a dynamic working schedule when in the field or office.
Your Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field, such as microbiology, biological science, cellular biology, biomedical science or chemistry required as a minimum
- Minimum of 5-years working within Life Science Industry Sales
- Experience managing a team, with a proven track record of achieving targets and KPIs
- Full UK driving license
