Job Description

Manager to act as subject matter expert on regulatory and compliance-related matters.


You will be a key point of contact for relevant regulatory bodies and provide support and guidance to other senior managers and Directors. This will be a hybrid role and can be mostly remote, with occasional work from the office in North Yorkshire. 

Role Overview:

  • Design, implement and optimize procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant standards, regulations, and legislation. 
  • Monitor and communicate any changes in the regulatory and legislative landscape relevant to the business. 
  • Act as point of contact for external regulators. 
  • Maintain and optimise risk management strategies and policies.
  •  Implement and oversee policies and procedures within the company’s ISO13485 QMS from a regulatory perspective

To be considered...

Requirements:

  • A strong background in compliance, ideally within a healthcare setting.
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant regulations and standards including ISO9001, ISO13485, UK MDR and GDPR. 
  • Experience liaising with regulatory bodies such as the CQC and MHRA.
