You will look at improvements and corrections of analytical equipment with an electronics focus, this will include working with digital signal processors or DSP, pneumatic parts as well as infra-red optics. Furthermore, you will look to write embedded software and you will be involved in working with both analogue and digital electronics.

You should have significant experience working with digital hardware and embedded software ideally within a scientific industry, most particularly plant science/physiology. You will have expertise in working with DSP and A to D converters as well as be familiar with serial interfaces such as I2C, SPI, USB, and RS232. Knowledge of pneumatics is also highly beneficial.
