Job Description

We are currently recruiting a Qualified Person to join a pioneering pharmaceutical company based in Essex.  As the Qualified Person, you will be responsible for batch release of a sterile product. This position is working at a Manufacturing site and will be Monday to Friday on site with some hybrid working considered.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

These are varied however main responsibilities are as follows:

• Timely release of products, ensuring that the product is fit for its intended use.
• Ensure that all activities within the area are undertaken to established standards of cGMP.
• Ensure QP input to Streams through involvement with training, deviation investigation & reporting, and overall coaching/mentoring of stream leadership in quality matters.
• To assist in the investigation of Incidents, Deviations, and Customer Complaints including Root Cause Analysis
• Work with all Operations and quality management to agree on overall quality improvements and act as the driver for these improvements.
• Provide Quality Assurance support on projects when required.
• To support both production and QP team budgetary targets
• Responsible for providing support to colleagues and occasionally new starters for improved overall performance.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

We will be looking for experience in the following:

• Qualification in a scientific discipline.
• Education requirements for the role of the Qualified Person (QP) such as a diploma in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technology.
• Registered as a Qualified Person
