The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly qualified Business Development Manager who is up for a new challenge to launch and develop a startup company in the UK. As a successful Business Development Manager, you will be working within the NHS and private hospitals where you will sell a range of top-quality trauma implants to orthopaedic surgeons. Full product training will be provided and career and earning prospects are very attractive.
Responsibilities:
• Support in launching the company and its products into the UK market.
• Contribute towards the planning and execution of strategically developing the business and the team (2-3 sales associates) within the region.
• Setting the territory plans & KPI’s for team member.
• Identify & create a strategic pipeline of prospective clients throughout the UK.
• Manage the full sales cycle and ensure that set targets are met.
• Represent the company at exhibitions and networking events.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential clients in both private & public hospitals.
• Lead a team of sales experienced sales associates.
• Provide regular updates on sales activities. Market trends and competitor analysis.
• Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
• Degree level education or equivalent in a relevant field
• 2-5 consecutive years of extensive experience in the orthopaedic implant field.
• Proven successful experience with building & developing start up companies.
• Strong Knowledge and network in this industry across different regions in London.
• Experience in sales & marketing (Trauma Subspecialty in foot & Ankle).
• Experience of selling to NHS hospitals.
• A new business hunter mentality, ideally with examples of winning new accounts.
• Very commercially switched on with excellent customer handling skills
• Committed to driving business forward and with an excellent work ethic.
• Full UK driving license.
