Network Scientific are pleased to announce their membership of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC). The REC is the UK’s professional body for the recruitment industry and having REC Member status highlights us as being a recruitment company that adheres and works to the highest industry standards.
To become a member the company had to pass the REC compliance test which is designed to assess a business’s knowledge of the relevant industry legislation of the REC Code of Professional Practice. The compliance test is made up of a series of questions that cover the key industry legislation and, in particular, the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Business Regulations 2003 and the REC Code of Professional Conduct.
Managing Director, Zara Jackson, says “We are delighted to have passed the REC Compliance Test with flying colours and are thrilled with the results. This is a testament to our passion of being a leading recruitment provider to the scientific industry. The REC guidelines align perfectly with our company values and our membership reinforces our dedication to providing recruitment services of the highest ethical standards. A huge well done to all involved!”.
In joining the REC we have signed up to the Code of Professional Practice (REC Code), which requires basic statutory compliance as well as higher ethical standards. Not only must members pass the REC’s Compliance Test on entry, but they must pass again every two years to retain membership.
