Our client is a global market leader in the Medical Device arena, specialising in the manufacturing of healthcare solutions surrounding pain management, digestive health and respiratory products.
This client was looking for a medical device recruitment partner to work on all their commercial recruitment projects within the United Kingdom. This request was put out to tender to a number of different recruitment agencies.
The process was to have a meeting with the HR Manager and discuss why we would best suit their needs from an experience point of view, how our processes and approach would suit theirs and how our transparency, honesty and accountability would fit with their ethos. There was an instant connection between the two organisations and a partnership was developed, with terms, conditions and processes agreed upon.
We were first tasked with finding them a senior-level business development manager. This required us to take a very detailed job brief, including both professional experience but also, importantly, a strong cultural match.
As per all of our approaches, we advertised the role on our website, as well as job boards and multiple social media platforms. We are fortunate to have access to a vast network of active and passive seekers and therefore have numerous candidates we can reach out to directly.
Through our activity, we were able to compile a shortlist of eight highly relevant candidates. These were qualified through our internal interview and screening process, conducted in alignment with the requirements outlined in the agreed job specifications. Following this, we submitted three candidates to our client who met the criteria to a satisfactory level. All three candidates were brought in for a direct client face-to-face interview, with two taken to the final stage interview.
During the process as well as the run-in to the successful candidate starting, we remained in constant contact to ensure that all documentation and training schedule were handled properly. We made a call on the first day to ensure that the candidate started successfully.
Both candidates met the brief and were seen as excellent fits for the role. It was down to experience levels that eventually won it for the successful candidate.
Our success has led to an exclusive agreement across the United Kingdom and now into Europe for our client's international recruitment needs. We now have a weekly 30-minute team meeting to catch up on all developments and have numerous ongoing projects with them, with both the client and ourselves happy with the exceptional relationship built.
We have a single point of contact, however, to ensure that we all have a strong understanding of the various roles, we are allowed access to the hiring managers to ensure all our questions are answered.
